About Paldoris Ventures
A venture and business development practice on East Lake Street in Minneapolis, working with founders and owner-managers across Minnesota.
Why we go back
Paldoris Ventures was founded because advisors are never marked.
Our people had all given recommendations that closed an engagement and then vanished from view. Some were good. Some were not. Nobody ever found out which, least of all the advisor.
Without follow-up there is no calibration. A consultant who never learns which recommendations failed keeps applying the same reasoning, with confidence that grows rather than sharpens.
The client cannot judge either. Businesses take advice, act on it, and attribute the result to a dozen other factors, which means even a costly error goes unexamined by both sides.
So every substantive recommendation is logged when it is given and revisited at twelve and twenty-four months, unpaid, whether or not we are still engaged. The tally goes to anyone considering working with us.
How we are paid
Fixed fees against defined scope, agreed before work begins, never contingent on a raise, a transaction or a decision going one way.
No equity, warrants or options. Taking a position in a client would give us an interest in the advice, which is the thing we are trying to avoid.
No finder fees. Introductions to investors, partners or acquirers are made without payment from either side.
The follow-up review is free. It is not a paid engagement and it applies to former clients as much as current ones.
